Deb started her career at Prairie Manor Care Center in 1997 as Heather Haus Manager when it was still an Independent Living facility for seniors. When Prairie Manor obtained their Assisted Living License for Heather Haus, she opted to go part-time in the Activity Department for a few years while raising her "small army" of children alongside her husband, Jared. During that time, she realized how much she loves enriching the lives of the residents. Deb obtained her Activity Director certification through Ridgewater College in 2017. She secured employment elsewhere until the Activity Director position at Prairie Manor opened at the end of 2022, and it immediately felt as if she were back home.
